2018

Where the Bagel Started

Micheal Velardi in 2018 moved from West Palm to Florida. While working for the postal service, he began making bagels right in his garage. With a passion to bring New York bagels back to South Florida.

2021

Opening our doors!

In 2024, we opened our doors to the public with a mission to make a family breakfast spot that reminds people of New York under the name Bagel Depot NYC.

2022

Complete Rebrand

With new ownership, we were able to to the legacy of Schmear Bagels. With a fresh rebrand & the same quality bagels, we were able to keep the store afloat through a difficult time.

2023

Won a local poll for Coral Spring's best bagel

We are honored to have won such an important award to our business. We also want to give a special shout out to Mike Velardi Jr. who hand rolled & baked the majority of our bagels year round who is the son of the original founder.
